Editing Wrapped Up

Hey folks, figured we were overdue for an update. I'm happy to report that The Bloom is progressing nicely. The project hit a bit of a slow point in the past month or so as we shifted attention in getting One Night at the Shelterwood Inn wrapped up in time to launch before the Triangle Agency Kickstarter, but we're back to full steam ahead and have been making good progress. The current plan is to send both zines to print right around the same time, hopefully around late-June to mid-July.

However, there are a few things to report. First, the manuscript has been edited and a draft is now available for download. Nothing terribly substantial changed from the last draft (thankfully), but we tightened up the language and clarified where needed. I would expect the text to change some as we optimize for space during layout, but the content itself is locked in.

Second, I'd estimate that layout is about 1/3 of the way done at this point. The biggest lift in terms of work right now is design work on some custom assets, two of which are shown below. The overall map of Coldwater has gotten an overhaul and we've got a look at the Coldwater Camp.

Last, we've received word that the Girls Run These Worlds channel is going to be running a Liminal Horror actual play series pulling from The Bloom in the near future.  Follow them on social media and keep on eye on our official feeds for more information!
