Drafting layout
Liminal Horror » Devlog
Small update. Currently working on layout of the text into affinity publisher. I’m aiming for 5.5x8.5 so people can easily print a booklet at home.
I’ve been running it for my two weekly games and we’ve been having a great time. The tables for character generation and questions really bring the group together and creates a more working/weekend investigator vibe than the classic Call of Cthulhu everyone’s a troubled professor. Across the two game’s it seems that the tone is every group has a aimless storeclerk. Which makes sense since store clerks interface with all facets of life.
Next steps:
- Complete layout
- Edit public domain images to place in layout
- Write session recaps and post them somewhere
- Sketch out a few mysteries people can use (plague of frogs & bad times in antelope/the mines of osho)

How goes layout? Good, I hope! Really looking forward to the 'finished' version, as Liminal Horror is a real gem. Fantastic stuff! All best, - Brian C. in Massachusetts ('Mograg').
2/3rds of the way done and then on to inserting art then done!
Terrific! Can’t wait to see it!
I look forward to running Liminal Horror with my large library of Call of Cthulhu scenarios and OSR adventures (maybe that old TSR module 'Lost City' becomes a modern Lost City somewhere in the sands of Northern Africa or the American Southwest...)
