Liminal Horror is in PRINT (and resources for new developers)

Liminal Horror just went up for sale at Exalted Funeral: https://www.exaltedfuneral.com/products/liminal-horror-pdf

This is an exciting step because now people can put a copy of this in their collection! This edition includes some additional facilitator resource (which can also be found on the website here) as well as including the first mystery, Plague of Frogs!

Resources for Game Design: Also for anyone who has any interest in starting out in design (or if you are a veteran), I have been compiling resources I've used to help me get to this point.  This is a working document so as I come across things I will be updating them (or if someone sends resources my way). It is a mix of blog posts/websites/twitter threads/etc.  This work aligns with my end goal of creating more comprehensive resources for designers and collaborate on pushing how we design digital/pdf games.

Also an epub version hopefully will be coming soon. I am also writing a mall based version of the thing (with flesh fungus) so that hopefully will peak its way out eventually. I may even participate in adventure jam in a ploy to get others to use Liminal Horror as their base game.

Thanks Sasha! I have a feeling it’ll be right in your wheelhouse.

Just bought the print copy from Exalted Funeral.   Question: can characters have multiple spells prepared in different inventory slots?

Thats exciting! I’m so happy about how they turned out.

I would say you could have multiple if you weren’t using them the day prior. I find that magic is fun and chaotic and since the game relies on fiction nothing is really breaking. It definitely is fun to see how creative some of the combos can be.

That’s good to know…I’m thinking of the occult scholar type who collects magic tomes laden with spells, such as might happen in Call of Cthulhu or Silent Legions, and how that would work in Liminal Horror.
