New LIMINAL HORROR Discord Server

We've finally created a dedicated LIMINAL HORROR discord server to help grow the LH community. It is a great place for designers, facilitators, and players. As we gear up for the deluxe edition, the new generation of hardcover modules for LH, and at least one future JAM (definitely summer and maybe fall as well) you won't want to miss out.

Server Layout

Information (category): This category is used as a place to reference information for community members.

⁠Welcome (channel) This is the channel you'll arrive at. Sometimes it's nice to welcome new members. It is also a place to introduce yourself and what brought you to the server.

Announcements (channel) This is where the Liminal Horror dev-team (Goblin Archives and Josh Domanski) will share official announcements about LH content, as well as server wide community announcements.

⁠official-links (channel) Where we post links to official Liminal Horror content (products, actual plays, resources, etc).

Liminal Horror Discussion (category) This category of channels is where the magical and weird happen. This is the main place for discussion, collaboration, and hanging out. Keep it Liminal Horror related. Remind yourself of the community rules above. We may be writing about horror, but it is a place to be welcoming and supportive of each other.

⁠General (channel) This is the main place where people hang out and talk Liminal Horror. It is a place to share ideas, get advice and muse about horror ttrpgs. Note that there is no off-topic channel, and while divergence from the main theme is totally okay, if it is becoming a deeper discussion it may benefit from becoming a thread or moving to direct messages.

Design Aid (channel) This channel is a place to get talk about the Liminal Horror adventures you're writing. This is a place for feedback and help get Liminal Horror projects out the door. The best part of the ttrpg community is how designers support each other in their work. Potential areas:

writing (adventures, factions, Resonant Artifacts, monsters, NPCs, campaign, setting, or other unique things)
design
layout
art
publishing
marketing

Build A Monster (channel) The place to share your twisted creatures that don't quite have a home otherwise. Please note, to promote collaboration all contributions to this channel shall be licensed under "CC BY 4.0". Note: If you want feedback on a monster for your own work (and licensed differently) go to design-aid

⁠Media Recommendations (channel) This is the channel you go to share cool links that inspire you. Anything from recommendations to art, video games, books, shows, movies, articles, etc.

⁠Music-Recommendations (channel) Similar to ⁠media-recommendations , this channel is where you share what you're listening to.

Play Reports (channel) There's nothing more exciting (and enlightening) than reading about another's experience at the table. This is the place to share recaps/reports from your Liminal Horror sessions. These may be links if you write them up elsewhere (or they're too long).

⁠Self-Promo (channel) This is the place to brag and share the cool things you've made/published. This discord is not a marketing platform, so this channel should be for those who are a part of the Liminal Horror community.

⁠The Archive (channel) This channel is a place for use to archive the different Liminal Horror creations haunting the internet.
